| Clemenceau - West Face null Compared to the approaches, the ascent of Clemenceau is relatively straight-forward. Once the party has followed the Tusk Glacier W to gain the SW side of the objective, the ascent begins by climbing what is commonly called the Tiger Glacier, the lower slopes of which are often ice rather than snow; however, the angle is gentle and cramponing easy and efficient.
