Drive N from Golden and, just before the trans-Canada swings W at Donald to cross the Columbia River, continue N on the Bush River road – good maps and a full tank of gas (perhaps with a jerrycan as well) in a truck or 4WD vehicle with good clearance are essential since this dirt logging road bends around a number of large inlets in the Columbia River (Bush Arm in particular) that were formed when the Mica Dam flooded the area and can be muddy and rutted.
